Dr. Gunvir Gill

Dr. Gill is a board certified Vascular and Interventional Radiologist.

Dr. Gill went to medical school at University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas, where his MD was supported by a merit-based scholarship from the Alumni Association. He graduated in the top quarter of his class, and proceeded to obtain Internship and Residency training at Northwestern and University of Rochester respectively. He then went on to obtain a Fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at Brown University.

After 4 years in private practice, Dr Gill joined the faculty at University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston as Section Chief of Vascular and Interventional Radiology. While there, he was awarded the inaugural Melvin Clouse Endowment in Interventional Radiology. While on staff at UTMB, Dr Gill was instrumental in intradepartmental collaboration with Interventional Nephrology, Vascular Surgery, Gastroenterology, and Oncology, thus increasing the scope and complexity of procedures offered by UTMB. He also authored numerous peer-reviewed research articles and book chapters.

Dr. Gill brings years of experience in treating vascular disorders in a minimally invasive manner. He has forged deep and lasting relationships with his patients through providing knowledgeable, thoughtful, and compassionate care. He is committed to optimizing patient outcomes by combining his wealth of experience as a clinician with the latest state-of-the-art surgical equipment and techniques.
